
Kevin is a certified financial literacy teacher who has been working in the Freehold Regional High School District (NJ) since 2003. He holds an Associate of Arts in Social Science Education from Harrisburg Area Community College, a Bachelor of Science in Education from West Chester University of Pennsylvania, and a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Massachusetts. He is a passionate advocate for personal financial literacy and economic education, believing these concepts are vital to both personal and professional wellness.
Kevin serves as an Izzit.org Teacher Ambassador and is a 2017 Council for Economic Education (CEE) Master Teacher Program inductee. In these roles, he leads local, regional, and national professional development for educators, as well as financial education programs for youth — partnering with nonprofits, foundations, and financial services organizations, while also hosting independent events through his own venture, LifeFinanceEd.
Recognized nationally for his contributions to financial literacy education, Kevin received the prestigious Barry G. Haimes Award for Excellence in Teaching from CEE in 2023. Demonstrating further leadership in the field, he founded LifeFinanceEd, LLC in 2024.
Expanding his reach into financial literacy education, Kevin accepted a role on the Educator Advisory Board of Directors at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business Global Youth Program in 2025.
